Phases

Breakdown of the phases.

STANDBY PHASE An intermediate phase where only card effects happen (if any of those cards have been used, otherwise this Phase is skipped and the next phase commences.

DRAW PHASE Here the player will draw a card from the deck.

OPENING PHASE In this phase the player can prepare for the next phase (Combat Phase) and setup the preferred Battle Cards and/or Utility Cards. The player can also activate Utility Cards or effects from Battle Cards.

COMBAT PHASE After preparing in the Opening Phase the player can attack the opponents Battle Cards, or the player directly if no Battle Card are present.

CLOSING PHASE To ensure victory after the Combat Phase the player can set or activate Utility Cards and/or a Battle Card (if the player has not summoned this in the Opening Phase).

END PHASE
