The Dead Sands, or as they prefer to be called, The Golden Scarab.

The Golden Scarab was a civilization that had wealth, prosperity and power, a capital made out of solid gold. It was a wealthy city with a lot of social and political works, but they always had a dark side unknown to outsiders. Only the loyal subjects of The Golden Scarab could practice these arts.

The Upper Class also saw this could grant immortality and went deeper into their obsession with black magic, evolving to necromancy and harvesting Life Force from every living being. The corruption was so great that even civillians of The Golden Scarab were harvested for their Life Force.

They felt absurd power of so much Life Force, they started draining Life Force out of their surroundings, destroying everything, turning it into a barren wasteland, now known as The Dead Sands.

The Dead Sands uses their dark arts to turn the living beings they drained Life Force from into Undead, creating an ever-growing army of Undead.

The leader of the Necromancers is the Pharaoh, who looks human by stealing the Life Force of subjects to stay immortal and appearing youthful.
